es, fungus, candida or mold. This natural antimicrobial remedy uses powerful chemicals from plants that have antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and antiparasitic properties to help support the immune system and fight against pathogens.
Of course, this antibiotic/antimicrobial home remedy has fewer side effects than a conventional antibiotic. Your immune system is your greatest weapon against infections. All we want to do is use natural compounds to enhance the immune system’s defenses.
Fever
If you get a fever, for example, you don’t want to try to run out and get some medication to try to suppress the fever right off the bat. Because a fever is part of your immune system response and your immune system is your greatest weapon against infections. A lot of people don’t talk about this. They don’t emphasize it. But your immune system is really what’s going to fight this thing off. All what we can do is use natural compounds to enhance our immune system defenses. If you start taking things to suppress a fever, for example, you may find that the infection stays around a lot longer. It’s going to be harder for you to resolve this situation.
Stress
Along with this home remedy, it’s crucial to address things that lower your immune system, like stress. Stress is always the thing that triggers a lowered immune system. You must do whatever you can to reduce this stress. Why? Because stress activates cortisol. In the presence of high levels of cortisol, your immune system cannot function. It gets put on pause. And that means that pathogens can very easily invade your body. So this whole thing with cortisol and stress must be resolved.
Vitamin D
Also, keep in mind that vitamin D is essential to boost immunity and increase your immune system’s ability to fight against sickness.
Also, realize there’s a natural form of cortisol that you can also tap into. And that is vitamin D, which is not really a vitamin. It’s a hormone. So the more you can expose yourself to the sun or take vitamin D, the better the immune system will work and you’ll get the effects of cortisol without all these side effects. Vitamin D does not paralyze the immune system. It modulates it. It controls the overreaction of an immune system but helps improve the immune system at the same time. It increases your immune system’s ability to fight back.
Recipe
Here’s how to make the best natural antibiotic drink!
Ingredients
- 15 garlic cloves
- 1 whole lemon
- 1 Tbsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 cup grated ginger
- 1/4 cup manuka honey
- 1 oz olive oil (or 1 tsp coconut oil)
- 3 oz apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
Directions
Add the ingredients to a blender and blend for 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a 16 oz mason jar and pour in additional water until the mixture is about a 1/2 inch from the top of the jar. Seal the jar and keep it in the refrigerator. The longer this formula is in the refrigerator, the more potent it will become.
How to take this natural antimicrobial remedy
At the first sign of sickness, take a shot of this drink. You can then take an additional four shots of this remedy throughout the day.
Always be sure to check with your doctor before using any substitute for medication.
Thank you, this info is so beneficial, good to know and learn from. Turmeric is an absolutely wonderful spice. So many health benefits, it’s good for almost everything. Thanks once again.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING INFO! This recipe is very close to my “sore throat soup” – with chicken broth, cayenne pepper, a pinch of black pepper for the turmeric, and pineapple added. I have one comment regarding honey. Like everyone else talking about the keto diet, sugar is treated as the enemy – which in many cases IS SO TRUE. But I’ve been very disappointed to see properly sourced honey being discouraged as if it’s just another form of sugar – it is ABSOLUTELY beneficial and medicinal. Quality honey SHOULD NOT be mindlessly lumped into the rest of “the sugar cube”. Over 55 years of life, I learned young to not climb on any bandwagon. My main mantra – extremes are almost never the answer. Ethically grown locally sourced honey and manuka honey from people I know will ALWAYS remain a part of my diet. I have been very sad to see honey discouraged by diet promoters
I always chew on garlic and drink lemon water in the morning. Ever since I started the routine, my sinus allergies dissapeared and am no longer having the morning cold or allergic sneezes. I cook with tumeric too in most dishes.
All natural is a better way to go in preventative medicine . We have gotten off track over time . It is up to us as individuals to educate ourselves and break the trend of pharmaceuticals ! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I’ve always trusted the beneficial properties of natural home remedies. Nature is perfect. Antibiotics are harsh on the stomach too. I add turmeric in many dishes, even on my omelettes. Thank you for your great and valuable information
The recipe looks great. I’ve already been drinking whole lemon blended with water, ice, ginger, apple cider vinegar, sea salt, extra virgin olive oil and a little bit of Stevia a few times per week. Regarding the antibiotic drink, I would follow all of your instructions (I might leave out the honey but add sea salt) and allow the mixture to ferment. I would, however, most likely use it as a dressing for my salads, vegetables and meat instead of using it as a remedy when I start feeling sick. I think that with my plan, I will never get sick.
